Message I posted a few pictures of my project car the other day but I made sure the "wide body" was fairly well disguised by the poor picture. I thought for sure someone would spot it and ask about it since people are very perceptive on the forum. I guess I hid it too well. I was going to keep this part of the project under wraps until it was finished since it looks so ruff now. (And I didn't want to start another nasty debate about wide bodies) But I'm coming out of the closet.

This picture is from a couple of weeks ago while I still had the new fascia on for test fit.

This is a "better shot" from when I dropped it off at the shop last Tuesday. OEM fenders mounted in front but the rear fascia has been removed again.

This is what it looked like with the original rear fascia mounted right after the sheet metal fabrication was completed.

The idea was to try and follow the original contour lines of the car rather than just peel and bulge the rear fender area. I think "Steve" did a great job on the fabrication. It was a lot of work and he has assured me he will only do one more - his.

PS - No I'm not a college student now, but my oldest daughter is a freshman this year. I don't think that counts? (This is joke - if'n ya don't get it - forget it - ya haven't been readin enough of the general posts lately.)
